"AI in a minute" - A series of videos animated to introduce Microsoft Azure, the cloud platform of Microsoft. A team of designers and animators created 5 explanation videos for the product, 'Generative AI', 'Large Language Models', 'Prompt engineering', 'Vector Search', and 'Responsible AI' as topics.
Our primary task was to craft visuals and animations for the product across all social media platforms and building a motion system that highlights the product's role in consumers' daily lives today, and the increasing breadth of products the client is delivering.
Explorations
I was mainly tasked with creating animations for movement of gradients, dots and lines, and disc sets. I also animated the first ten seconds of 'Prompt Engineering' and scene 00:18 in 'Vector Search'. Some explorations I did for the team that later served as references for the final videos. As there were brand guidelines in place, I tried to push the boundaries to incorporate vibrant colors and playful movements that fits to the brand feeling - simple and strong.
AI in a minute - Generative AI
I was responsible for animating the dots and lines that appeared within the plates in the blurb of gradients (00:01 - 00:05, 00:13-00:18 background) and also the scene 00:34.
AI in a minute - Large Language Models
I was responsible for animating how the dots, lines and gradients move from seconds 00:24 - 00:26.
AI in a minute - Prompt Engineering
I was responsible for animating the animation from 00:02 - 00:10.
AI in a minute - Vector Search
I was responsible for animating the scene 00:18.
